This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
